Body polishing
Body Polishing, full-body skin treatment designed to deeply exfoliate, hydrate, and rejuvenate your skin from the neck down. Often described as a “facial for the body,” the procedure involves gently scrubbing the skin with premium exfoliants—like sea salts, coffee, sugar, or crushed walnut shells—mixed with essential oils and natural moisturizers. This process physically removes the buildup of dead skin cells, clears clogged pores (which cause body acne and “strawberry legs”), and stimulates blood circulation. After the scrubbing, the body is wrapped or massaged with rich, hydrating creams, leaving the skin incredibly smooth, glowing, and baby-soft.
Why Body Polishing is Better Than Regular Body Care?
5 reasons why Body Polishing gives smoother, brighter, and healthier-looking skin
Body Polishing Treatment
- Deeply exfoliates and removes dead skin cells
- Helps improve skin texture and natural glow
- Provides smooth, soft, and refreshed skin
- Enhances blood circulation and skin rejuvenation
- Helps reduce tanning and dullness
Regular Body Care
- Offers only basic cleansing and moisturization
- Dead skin buildup can make skin look dull
- Temporary freshness with limited exfoliation
- Less effective for tanning and rough skin
- Does not deeply rejuvenate the skin
FAQs
Body polishing actually changes your natural skin color and makes you fair.
No treatment can or should change your genetic skin color. Body polishing simply removes the dull, dead skin cells and superficial sun tan sitting on the surface. This reveals your true, natural, and radiant skin tone underneath, making you look “brighter,” but not chemically bleached.
Can I get body polishing if I have very sensitive skin?
Yes! The treatment is highly customizable. For sensitive skin, the therapist will avoid harsh sea salts and instead use ultra-gentle exfoliants like oatmeal, fine sugar, or jojoba beads mixed with calming aloe vera or milk.
I should get a body polish right after waxing to make my skin smoother.
This is a huge mistake. Waxing tears the hair from the root, leaving pores open and skin highly sensitive. Applying a granular scrub immediately after will cause severe burning and irritation. You must wait at least 48 to 72 hours after waxing before getting a body polish.
How long do the results last, and how often should I do it?
The glowing, baby-soft results typically last about 3 to 4 weeks, depending on your home hydration routine. For maintaining flawless skin, getting it done once a month is ideal.
Body polishing helps you lose weight or reduces cellulite permanently.
While the intense massage techniques stimulate lymphatic drainage (which can temporarily reduce water retention and make you look slightly firmer), it absolutely does not burn fat or permanently cure cellulite.
